Applications for SeaGlass Lit's writing and art staff are currently open!
 

We will be reviewing applications on a rolling basis, and will contact applicants regardless of their status.

Available Positions

Editors

Editors will be revising and editing the work of staff writers prior to being uploaded on the website. Editors will also need to edit the accepted submission pieces for the bi-monthly issues. They may also give feedback on pieces that are rejected if they have requested feedback. You will work closely with staff writers, the Director of Literature, and the Editor in Chief.

Summer Intern

You'll lend a helping hand to anyone on the internal team, giving you the chance to experience all areas of a lit mag. This position is TEMPORARY and will last from July-September. We will provide you with any references you may need to confirm your internship.

Submission Readers

Readers will help the Editor in Chief and Submission Directors decide which pieces to accept or reject.

Twitter Manager

You will work under the Directors of Marketing to grow our Twitter account. You will be primarily responsible for the posting on this platform. This position requires as interview as you will be joining the internal team.

Contest Director

You will pioneer a new branch of SeaGlass: Contests! You will plan them and execute them, along with help from whoever you need. This position requires as interview as you will be joining the internal team.

Graphic Designer

You will join the art department and create designs for merch as well as help with cover designs. You need to have digital art skills as all designs are originals.

Finance Director

You will be joining SeaGlass's board and do the bookkeeping, managing, and planning of our financials. This includes budgeting, managing our online products, and working with the PR Director for patrons.
